Liane Kim, Artist
A fine artist in watercolor, Liane Kim’s impressionistic style has a strong brush stroke from Asian traditional studies.
In 1988 Liane was further honored with a gold Medal from the Seoul Olympic Commemoration committee for her artist expressions.
Liane’s art expresses her feelings rather than just graphic portrayal of a scene. The craft and unique style of Liane’s work makes each piece a collector’s item. The elegance of watercolor and depth of her ink gives power and grace to the art.
Her accomplished technique of combining oriental art with western scenes represents a bridge of East and West cultures from her over 20 years of experience in art.
In Liane’s most recent works you will clearly sense her love of European scenes where she graciously expresses the beauty and spiritual character of natural stone. The artwork of Liane Kim is on exhibit at East West Gallery in Carlsbad and throughout the United States.
